Document requirements for Equivalence of Foreign Educational Credentials (SCAN ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS)

 Document requirements for Equivalence of Secondary School Certificate

I.             Original and Photocopy of the Secondary School graduation Certificate/Diploma with acceptable pass mark duly authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.

II.           Original and photocopy of the passport (visa)

Document requirements for Equivalence of a Bachelor Degree

Bachelor graduates are advised to provide the following document for issuing Equivalence Certificate of their foreign qualification:

i.     Original and Photocopy of the Bachelor degree together with the Academic Transcript duly authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia

ii.   Original & Photocopy of the high school graduation certificate duly authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.

iii. Original & Photocopy of the passport (visa) showing his presence in the country of origin during the training period

iv.  With Service fee (Birr 225 for national and 450 for non-nationals 

Document requirements for Equivalence of a Master Degree

Master graduates are advised to provide the following documents for issuing Equivalence Certificate of their foreign qualification:

i.     Original and Photocopy of the Master’s degree together with the Academic Transcript duly authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia .

ii.   Original & Photocopy of the Bachelor Degree together with the Academic Transcript duly authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia .

iii. Original & Photocopy of the high school graduation certificate duly authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia (if the first degree is obtained from abroad)

iv.  Original & Photocopy copy of the passport (visa) showing his presence in the country of origin during the training period

v.    With Service fee (Birr 225 for national and 450 for non-nationals)

 Document requirements for Equivalence of a PhD Degree

PhD graduates are advised to provide the following document for issuing Equivalence Certificate of their foreign qualification:

i.       Original and Photocopy of the PhD together with the Academic Transcript duly authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia .

ii.     Original and Photocopy of the Master’s Degree together with the Academic Transcript duly authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia(if the Master’s degree is obtained from abroad).

iii.   Original and Photocopy of the Bachelor Degree together with the Academic Transcript duly authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia (if the Bachelor’s degree is obtained from abroad).

iv.   Original and Photocopy of the high school graduation certificate duly authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia (if the first degree is obtained from abroad)

v.      Original and photocopy of the passport (visa) showing his presence in the country of origin during the training period

vi.    With Service fee (Birr 225 for national and 450 for non-nationals)
